Like many, I felt overwhelmed by all the conflicting information out there, unsure where to start, or how to create a sustainable, positive, lifestyle. That's why I founded Shelb Be Healthy - to cut through the noise and empower others to take control of their well-being with clarity and confidence.

My mission is to make healthy living accessible to everyone by helping you embrace small changes that lead to big results. My Story
Hi there, I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share my journey with you. If you're reading this, you're already part of a community that’s dedicated to living healthier, fuller lives. And I want to thank you for being here and being part of my story.

I’ve always been an athlete—growing up in gymnastics and cheerleading, and then later diving into year-round volleyball throughout high school. My body was my strength, my pride, and my focus. But when I got to college, like so many young women, I found myself swept up in a different kind of world—a world that didn’t prioritize my health. There was partying, late nights, and a detachment from the values I once held dear. Slowly, I lost sight of my physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

What started as a little bit of fun here and there turned into a constant cycle of stress, depression, and unhealthy habits. I isolated myself from people, wasn’t kind to myself, and began to feel like I was living a life out of balance. It all caught up to me when I ended up in the hospital with unexpected heart issues—my wake-up call.
​
That moment was a turning point. I realized that I couldn’t keep going down this path. I wanted to feel good again—not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. I wanted my lifestyle to reflect the strength and vitality I had in my youth. I knew I had to make a change.
​
And so, I began the journey to create a healthier lifestyle. It wasn’t about a quick fix, but about nurturing my body, mind, and soul. I started by nourishing my body with food that made me feel alive—foods that fueled me instead of drained me. I also committed to managing stress in healthier, more productive ways, whether that was through mindfulness, movement, or simply taking time for myself. I focused on rebuilding my relationships—with myself and others.
It wasn’t always easy, and it took time. But over the years, through consistency and self-compassion, I cultivated habits that allowed me to thrive—not just survive.

Today, I’m passionate about sharing these lessons with others. I’ve come to realize that health and wellness are not just about physical fitness, but about balance, self-love, and having the tools to navigate the challenges life throws at us. I want to make these practices simple and accessible for everyone, no matter where they are in their journey.
